I want to start off this month’s wrap up with a HUGE thank you to all of my followers, new, old, considering hitting that follow button (psst. do it)! I like to celebrate the little milestones in life and as of the time I’m writing up this post I’ve officially surpassed 50 followers! I can’t believe that I’ve even made it this far. I obviously could never have done this without all of you, so thank you so much for making this blog fun for me and loving books as much as I do. This was a really great way to end my month after a real hellish work month. As you may know from past posts, my work schedule has been super hectic and my company has been working on opening a new location that opens *drumroll* TODAY! I’m honestly going through an array of emotions over this store, I’m happy it’s open but terrified of the influx of work that will come my way thanks to it. Thankfully, I have some really awesome help so I’m not completely losing my mind.
WHAT I READ THIS MONTH
This was a tough month for me to decide on my favorite book between all of the Throne of Glass books I devoured. But, my favorite was for sure Crown of Midnight, the second installment of the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I can’t stop raving about this series. I have loved all of the books so far, but CoM takes the cake for me merely because of the heart palpitations it gave me, from the ROMANCE to the action.
TOTAL BOOKS I’VE READ SO FAR IN 2015
30 of my goal of 50
I am 6 books ahead of schedule.

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH ME
I bleached my hair blonde! Which you can see from my selfie above. I do hair modeling/guinea pigging/crash test dummying for a friend of mine who is a hair dresser. Being half-Asian I have a really unique hair texture and it tends to not react the same way to products. I’m also in a position where I’m game for just about any hair style trend, which is a lot of fun for me. My friend gets to try out new things on me and I get my hair done, it’s seriously a win-win.
This past weekend I went camping for a good friend’s birthday and my husband I were a little skeptical when we were informed we would be catching our own food from a lake. This is a reminder that I live in the desert in Southern Arizona, we don’t have places to hunt (that I know of) and I’m not one to jump at the idea of fishing, unless it involves me drinking tasty craft beer and reading while everyone else does the grunt work. We were pleasantly surprised when we ended up catching HUNDREDS of crawfish from a small lake up in the mountains. I think I’ve had crawfish one time before this past weekend, but boy was it gratifying to know that we caught our own food. They are actually really tasty too after I got past the idea of pulling their heads from the rest of their body.
