Top Ten Tuesday: Adaptations To Be Watched

Top 10 Tuesday

It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to post a TTT, so I’m pretty excited that this week’s had to do with film adaptations. I’m a big fan of adaptations, but I’m also the type of person who refuses to watch them without having read the book first. It’s a problem. I’m not proud.

1. Room

I’ve had this book downloaded on my Kindle pretty much since it was published and for one reason or another I still haven’t found the time to sit down and read it. Now that the movie has been out for a little bit, I have a bit more motivation.

2. Miss Peregine’s Home For Peculiar Children

I’m in the middle of the latest installment of this series and pretty excited for this movie. I’m just really hoping they actually involve the pictures from the books.

3. Fantastic Beats and Where to Find THem

Who isn’t excited for this? I dare you to defy me. I DARE YOU. Okay, but really, don’t, because that may make me a little sad.

4. Beauty and the Beast

Emma. Watson. That’s all I have to say to any of you.

5. Goosebumps

I’ve been really wanting to see this movie. I LOVED Goosebumps as a kid. I was totally one of those pain in the ass kids that read all the “choose your own adventure” books and cheated. You know, the type that flipped back and forth until I ended up at the conclusion that I wanted. Yep. That was me.

6. The Scorch Trials

This is the moment in the post where I drool over a picture of Dylan O’Brien and Kaya Scodelario. It’s actually been FOREVER since I’ve read the Maze Runner books and while I’ve seen the first movie more than a few times, it’d probably be a good idea to reread them again.

7. The Duff

Even though I haven’t read this book yet, and will have to before I see the movie, it looks super interesting and right up my alley.

8. Through the Looking Glass

When I was little I wanted to be Alice Liddell. I was OBSESSED with Alice in Wonderland. I still own multiple copies of it because I can’t see a different edition without giving it a loving home. I mean, all girls wanted to fall in a rabbit hole into a crazy opposite world right? Right.

9. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

I’ve still never seen the Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara version. I’m not sure why I’ve been avoiding it. I love this series.

10. suicide squad

You didn’t really think I was going to end this post without referencing one comic book right?
