While Bob and Linda Belcher have their hands full running the family business, their kids Tina, Gene, and Louise have adventures that you won’t believe! The producers, writers, and animators of the hit animated show Bob’s Burgers proudly present all-original comic book stories, including hilarious installments of “Louise’s Unsolved Mysteries & Curious Curiosities,” “Tina’s Erotic Friend Fiction,” and “Gene’s Rhymey Rhymes That Could One Day Be Songs.” Whether it’s Tina’s daydreams of cloning back-up dancers or jungle misadventures, Louise’s explorations of underground tunnels and time-stopping Wonder Wharf rides, Gene’s lyrics that reimagine boring Aunt Gayle visits as epic journeys to fantasy worlds, the Belcher family hijinx are guaranteed to make you laugh! —goodreads

I love Bob’s Burgers and I love comics, so it only seemed natural that I picked up Bob’s Burgers: Medium Rare. This is actually my intro to the Bob’s Burgers’ comics and quite simply I loved it. Each comic was a hilarious extension into the minds of Bob and Linda’s unique children: Tina, Gene and Louise. Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m probably the biggest Louise fan. I have even dressed up as Louise for Halloween. I’m obsessed with that pink bunny ear wearing weirdo.

Each comic would make a really awesome short for the TV show, from Tina’s Erotic Friend Fiction a la Casablanca and James Bond to Gene’s lyrics reimagine as Generella and adventures in Narnia. Because I mean who wouldn’t love more tributes to Jimmy Jr’s glorious butt?

The only reason I didn’t give this great collection five stars was that I would have really loved to see more installments from Bob and Linda’s perspective. While, yes, the kids bring a lot of the comedy to the TV show, I love Bob and Linda’s marital dynamic and would have loved to see more of them.
